Corpus Christi native David Solar is new author

Tate Publishing has requested that I not waste time between now and October when my first book 'Orion's Shield' is scheduled to release. This is also my first blog. So bare with me and be patient with my novice blog skills.

Being born and raised in Corpus Christi, I grew up in a America which has become a thing of the past. Those days of freedom to do and say just about anything are gone. My America has begun to vanish right before my eyes. The government takes more and more of our rights. Media only tells you what they are allowed to tell you. Just think about it and you will know what I'm saying is the truth.

Enough about politics. I graduated from Marry Carroll in 1969. I went on to Del Mar College until I lost my student deferment. Joined the Air Force to keep from being drafted into the Army. Went through basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. After basic training went to tech school at Lowery Air Force Base outside Denver Colorado. I learned fire control radar and was trained to work on F-4d Phantom. After Radar School graduation I was sent to Da Nang, Vietnam.

I would like to spend more time with you today but my sequal, 'Brotherhood of the Shield' waits for me.
